This site is owned and operated by the Canadian Conference of Mennonite Brethren Churches (“us,” “we” or “CCMBC”). Access to and use of this website (the “Site” or “Website”) is provided subject to the conditions listed below, and to the conditions outlined in our Website Privacy Policy. By accessing and using the Website you are indicating your acceptance to be bound by these conditions.

CCMBC websites include a combination of content that we and other third party content suppliers, including users, may create. For example, CCMBC websites may provide you and other users with an opportunity to submit, post, display, transmit and/or exchange information, ideas, opinions, photographs, images, video or other information, messages, transmissions or material to us or others. We may also provide you with links to third party websites. CCMBC cannot guarantee the accuracy, integrity or quality of any third party content or websites available through our Site. These content and links are provided solely as a convenience to you, and not as an endorsement by CCMBC. As such, you acknowledge that you should not rely on any of this content. CCMBC may, upon our discretion, remove content from the Site without notice.

Content and Conduct
The purpose of CCMBC Websites is to encourage, edify and equip users. We seek to build and foster community among the Mennonite Brethren in Canada through the exchange of stories, perspectives and conference information.

When you create content (including videos, audio, articles or user comments) on this Site, you are solely responsible for such content, and warrant that you own or have the necessary licences, rights, consents and permission to publish and submit. You affirm that the content you submit will not contain third party copyrighted material. You furthermore authorize CCMBC to store, use, translate, reproduce, distribute and display such content, including, without limitation, the promotion or redistribution of part or all of CCMBC Websites. However, you retain the copyright to such content. You acknowledge that CCMBC is not responsible for any loss, damage or corruption that may occur to such content.

You agree to keep your comments courteous and respectful. You agree that you will not submit material that is false, inaccurate, or misleading; or that violates any law, is defamatory, constitutes libel; or is unlawfully threatening, harassing, racist, or contains hate speech, obscenities, profanities or pornography; or that could be harmful to or exploits minors.

You agree not to embark on online activities that will disturb or disrupt any other user on the system. You agree not to interfere with the security or proper workings of the Site.

You agree not to impersonate any person, intentionally or unintentionally, or create a false identity on the Site. You agree not to post anonymous responses.

You agree not to transmit any private information of any third party.

You agree not to post or transmit any unsolicited commercial or advertising material, including material that may generate spam, unsolicited messages, or computer viruses.

CCMBC reserves the right to refuse submissions and to remove content without prior notice. CCMBC reserves the right to deny users access to the Site, in whole or in part.

User profiles
CCMBC may create a user profile for you on the Site in order to allow you to post third party content or interact with other Site features. As such, we may make some of your personal information (including, but not limited to, name, address, email and phone number) available to other users. Information that will be made public is clearly identified in the registration process. If you do not want certain personal information to be available to other users, please modify your profile settings. CCMBC reserves the right to refuse or remove user profiles without prior notice.

User account and security
You are solely responsible for creating your user account and keeping it secure. You should not to reveal your account information or password to anyone, and you should exit from your user account at the end of each session. You are responsible for all activities that occur on or through your account. Please notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or breach of security. CCMBC reserves the right to restrict, suspend or delete your account without notice. CCMBC cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from CCMBC’s failure or your failure to protect your password and account information.

Limited Use
CCMBC grants you a limited licence to download and display electronically, or in reproduce in hard copy, the Website’s content, for non-commercial, personal, church or educational purposes only, providing the Website content is not modified and that the Website’s copyright statement is included with such content.

Copyright
All material contained on CCMBC Websites (including, but not limited to, news article, text, computer code, artwork, photographs, images, logos, music, audio material, video material and audio-visual material), but not including third party content, is the sole property of CCMBC and is protected by Canadian and foreign copyright or other laws. All rights reserved. You may not adapt, edit, change, transform, publish, distribute, transfer, upload or post on the internet, sell, broadcast, exploit, destroy, show or play in public, or store on a retrieval system, whether in whole or in part, this website or the material on this website (in any form or media), other than in accordance with the licence of Limited Use, without the express written permission of CCMBC.

Online commerce and registration
Your submission of an order or online registration to us is deemed to constitute an order to purchase, and will remain open for a reasonable time, unless we agree otherwise, and will be deemed to be accepted by us only upon shipment of the product or service, or upon confirmation of your registration. CCMBC reserves the right at any time after the receipt of your order to accept or decline your order or registration for any reason.

When purchasing or registering, you agree to provide true, actual, current and complete information.
