In 1902 Abraham and Magdalena Becker came to reside with the Comanche Indians on the western plains of Oklahoma. They shaped a meaningful life of service among these former hunters and warriors, sharing their God and work ethic. Magdalena emerged as the key figure in the development of this successful mission.

The Mennonite Brethren Historical Commission, in conjunction with Kindred Productions and the Centers for Mennonite Brethren Studies, has made this book available for free online through the Open Library.
