Communion Curriculum

Description

In this communion unit, children will learn about the Lord’s Supper. They will understand that the Lord’s Supper is an act of remembrance, celebration and anticipation surrounding Jesus’ death, resurrection and second coming. Children will also learn that the Lord’s Supper is an act of commitment and an expression of thankfulness by the people who participate in the event. Finally, the children will recognize that Jesus is alive and his Spirit is present among us at the Lord’s Supper.

Communion is a four week elective geared to kids ages 6-12. A leader driven resource, this material fits into any type of children’s ministry program. This guides explains the concepts involved in the communion observance.
