Looking at some of the critical caregiving issues in the church today, Soul Care offers practical help to some not so easy to answer questions. Divided into ten chapters, each chapter opens with the aim of the chapter, then moves to a description of the pastoral care problem under review and concludes by asking some penetrating questions. The questions are framed to enhance discussion and to help the congregational caregivers actively engage the issues that are highlighted. The book is intended as a training manual.
Anyone involved in caregiving directly or providing leadership will benefit from what this manual has to offer.
